In walk mode, the cuff and shell are separated from each other to facilitate ascents. A 60° range of motion in the shaft guarantees all the necessary mobility and comfort. The boot's reduced weight (1520g in size 26.5) and the flexible construction of the tongue, made of two high-tech plastic materials, promote a natural and efficient stride, even on steep terrain. The new liner, with thermoformable option, optimally combines precision, stability, and comfort from the very first seconds in the boot. This allows you to tackle longer distances and greater elevation gain. Once at the summit, the Radical transforms with a single gesture into a stable and direct downhill boot thanks to the patented Hoji Single Lock system. Simply activate the Ski/Walk lever to lock the device, and the boot locks with an 11° forward lean. The cuff and shell then form a firm, precise unit with no play. This unique concept on the market guarantees confidence and efficiency on every descent, as is normally expected from alpine ski boots. Unlike the Radical Pro, the Radical's Ski/Walk mechanism is not linked to the precision buckles and power strap, which must be closed separately for the descent.
